Second Wind - LFTU & The Apollos

The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues this Thursday, September 1st at 7pm with Randolph folk quartet Second Wind, at The Underground - Listening Room located at 24 Pleasant St. in downtown Randolph.

“Second Wind is a Randolph, VT-based acoustic band performing an eclectic mix of contemporary and classic folk and blues tunes with a growing repertoire of original songs. A few years after its founding over three decades ago, Second Wind’s original members Jim Sardonis (vocals and guitar), Jim Green (guitar, mandolin, dobro and vocals), and Eric Sakai (bass) went on to form a rock band by that name, later recruiting percussionist Ralph Molinario (cajón and harp). In 2016, Second Wind returned to its acoustic roots.”

The first hour of Thursday’s ticketed show will be live-streamed on The Underground - Listening Room page on Facebook and on Bandcamp, and also broadcast on local radio station WCVR (Central Vermont radio) from 7-8pm. The second set will be for live patrons in house and on Bandcamp.

“A high energy rock and roll power trio equipped with the funk. Sent to Earth to fulfill the rock n roll prophecy, The Apollos have been summoned to restore rock and roll in the hearts of audiences near and far.”
