The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues on Thursday, January 13th with one of the Upper Valley’s newest indie folk/rock bands Of Conscious Mind. Featuring powerful vocals and groove-tinged rhythms, Of Conscious Mind will perform at 6pm on Thursday and be live-streamed digitally on Bandcamp, to be followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jamie Gage.
Coming fresh off the heels of their demo release party at Whaleback Mountain on New Years’ Eve 2022, Of Conscious Mind will be jamming eclectic covers and originals at The Underground, which is also where they recorded their first ever demo recording in Fall 2021. With comparisons to Grace Slick and Natalie Merchant, vocalist and songwriter Beth Svahn-Monroe will join her partner Mathe Svahn in bringing thoughtful and powerful songs to The Underground and its listening audience.

Thursday's performance will be a ticketed event
with 50% of the proceeds going to the artist
and 10% to Chandler Center for the Arts.
