We've got a busy week ahead of us at The Underground - Listening Room! First we have a special event this Wednesday at 8pm (doors at 7:30pm): Julia Rose Studios, violinist, looper extraordinaire, is visiting us from her travels around the West Coast with her band, for an awesome night of original tunes. Supporting her is AliT, singer-songwriter from South Royalton.

AliT:
Alison Turner, better known as AliT, is a singer-songwriter (guitar/voice) based in Vermont. Once described as “a less-neurotic Alanis Morissette”, the songstress records and performs a heartfelt and unique style of alternative/indie pop. Having started writing songs at the age of seven, and picking up the guitar when she was 11, Ali has developed into an introspective songwriter and versatile performer. Vermont’s Seven Days named AliT a finalist for Best Vocalist and Best Pop Artist 2018-2022.
Thursday evening we will be joined by Granville Daze for our weekly "Live from The Underground" concert series. You can come enjoy the show in-person or online from 7-9pm, doors at 6:30pm. Those of you on the road can also listen to the first hour on 100.1FM North Country WCVR.

Melding dynamic harmonies with lively word play, this folk duo comprised of John and Victoria Crowne delights us with a night of organic music, handcrafted and harvested from the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Friday night Jesse Taylor Band will rock The Underground with support from Friends from Work, headed down all the way from Burlington!
Jesse Taylor Band:
Rock, pop, punk. . . we're not really sure. Highly introspective, Jesse Taylor pours her heart out into her lyrics and music. Hailing from Maine, Jesse moved to Burlington to later find out she'd pursue music.
After performing as a solo artist for a couple years, she formed a band consisting of locals: Matthew Sicard (drums), Nicholas Treis (lead guitar), and Ian Morris Greenman (bass).
Friends From Work:
Everyone has had a friend from work. The friend who makes shifts bearable, who you spend your lunch break with, or who you spend all day talking to instead of working. Friends From Work provides a musical respite from the dystopian workplace that capitalism has ensnared us in. With an energetic driving sound, Friends From Work is off the clock and ready to rock. We look forward to playing you the tunes we wrote daydreaming at our desk!
