Jim Yeager's "Acoustic Abstracts of The Pink Doors" - Live from The Underground

The Live from the Underground (LFTU) performance series continues this Thursday with a special tribute concert performed by Jim Yeager entitled “Acoustic Abstracts of The Pink Doors"! The 6pm performance on Thursday, March 4th will be livestreamed digitally on Facebook and followed by an interview with LFTU co-host Jamie Gage.

A musician, songwriter and performer who lives in Windsor, VT, Jim Yeager has been writing, performing and recording for nearly 30 years and released his latest CD “Identity Crisis” in the fall of 2020. On Thursday, Yeager may talk about his new album in the interview, but the performance itself will be focused on his deep musical appreciation for two bands - Pink Floyd and The Doors - through a 90-minute performance of cover songs from each of their impressive discographies.

“These two bands are timeless and so enjoyable to interpret acoustically. They both have so much soul in their roots,” says Yeager.

In addition to being a songwriter and performer, Yeager has also become well-known in the Upper Valley and central Vermont over the last 10 years as the host of many open mic nights, including the legendary favorite at the Skunk Hollow Tavern in Hartland Four Corners.

Onstage, Yeager’s own music has been hailed as having a “spell-binding, mind-spinning power … with the ability to tap into a yearning for forgiveness, love and peace, and most of all spiritual awakening.”

Anyone who is a fan of Yeager’s music, The Doors or Pink Floyd won’t want to miss this one.
